John Mason found guilty on an indictment for the highway robbery of Thomas Hurrill in the parish of Hornchurch on 16th March 1757:  robbing him of 50 Portuguese gold coins (each with a value of 36/-),  1 Portuguese gold coin (value 9/-). 2 gold guineas and 20/- in money numbered.  Executed.
